Eastern 2010 ~ Sunday

So my good intentions of setting aside a few minutes each night to write an Eastern blog turned out to be just that...a good intention. So much to do and so little time. Instead of a day-by-day recap, I can do a super abbreviated account.

Thursday: Saw lots of friends. Got called an old married woman! Set up, completed final grooming and bathing. Quick shower before welcome party. Good food, long meeting. Early to bed.

Friday: 13 hours of showing!!! Good placements and/or cuts with ALL of the dogs we took. Fell asleep before my head hit the pillow.

Saturday: Sleep deprived and sore. Now that I'm 30, my knees don't work as good as they used to! Again, placed with ALL the dogs I took and again made a cut with Peyton in breed.

Final recap: It was great to see and catch up with all of our friends. Look forward to next year!!!!

Hi Erin, Although I have not met you officially I feel as if I already know you personally. You dad is my husband's good friend and golf buddy, but more importantly we are the proud owners of Mary Jane. I love reading your blogs as I can really appreciate a lot of it, well maybe not grooming Mary Jane for 6 hours! Mary Jane is so special to us. We have one daughter (Maddie Grace) and now we have a second, because she is just like having a second child. She is so good and loving. I must send pictures to you and your mom. Mary Jane has settled well into being a "house" pet. She loves the snow and we are taking her to Nags Head in a couple of weeks so we will find out if she likes the beach as much as we do. We have found out that she loves a creek and it is even better if they have ducks floating in it! I wanted to write and let you know that we are very grateful to have such a wonderful dog in our family, she is sooo sweet and loved by everyone that has had the opportunity to meet her.
